In early August 2023, the island of Maui, Hawaii, was gripped by a relentless wildfire outbreak, ominously named the Hawaii Firestorm. Fueled by dry, gusty conditions, the fires wreaked havoc, prompting evacuations, causing extensive damage, and tragically claiming lives.
In the wake of this catastrophe, MATHESON sprang into action. Our mission: to stand alongside the resilient Maui community as it grapples with the aftermath.
Partnering with the Maui Food Bank, we extended our support by donating four pallets containing over 6,900 bottles of essential water. This contribution will help ensure that vital resources are readily available during these challenging times.
We acknowledge the profound impact these wildfires have had on Maui residents. At MATHESON, we’re dedicated to lending a helping hand and fostering resilience in the regions we serve. Together, we can overcome even the most formidable challenges.
