February’s Employee Spotlight features Junko, MATHESON’s E-Commerce and Data Analyst Manager extraordinaire. Junko started her career with MATHESON over 13 years ago and has grown professionally within the company working cross-functionally throughout the organization. In her current position, Junko manages the data that is transferred on our e-commerce platform. Her detailed-oriented ability to research and analyze information is essential and has been instrumental in launching this project.
Junko is very driven at work and she has a very active personal life giving back to her community. She is a member of the Buy Nothing Project, an organization that focuses on building community by connecting people through hyperlocal gifting, and reducing the impact on the environment. She also volunteers her time with many charitable organizations including the Red Cross and UNICEF. Junko lives by a quote from Albert Pike that says: “What you do for yourself dies with you when you leave this world, what you do for others lives on forever.”
When Junko isn’t working or volunteering she enjoys putting her Fine Arts Undergrad degree to use. She is a very talented artist specializing in realistic pencil and colored pencil portraits. She also uses her hands to create furniture and bamboo portrait frames from scratch.
MATHESON is so proud to have Junko on our team!
