Think of Our Gas Professionals as an Extension of Your Own Professional Team
Production facilities are complex; and integration of gas distribution, collection, and feed subsystems are complex as well.
With hundreds of facilities around the world, from simple propane filling plants to highly specialized hydride gas blending facilities to mega-tonnage ASUs, it’s hard to find a gas challenge we have not met.
MATHESON delivers these services for onsite gas production facilities:
- Feasibility Evaluation
- Design
- Construction Services
- Shutdown and Startup Services
- Operation (including staffing)
- Maintenance
- Leak Testing
- Upgrades
- Turnarounds

Plant Design
Our design team is recognized around the world for class-leading design, system efficiency, reliability, cryogenic systems, advanced process control, and, of course, SAFETY.
MATHESON does not believe in cookie-cutter solutions, we design the plant to meet your needs, not ours!
Plant Construction
Our engineering and operations teams work in close partnership with our customers to ensure that application goals are met, and future requirements are taken into account.
With experience in building merchant supply plants, and onsite supply plants for customers of all types, our experience is broad and deep, encompassing storage provisions, energy conservation, heavy construction, and plant-associated elements for filtration, purification, and product handling (pumps, compressors, conveyance, etc.).
The total needs of a customer are not measured only in tpd or scfh. Beyond the production specs and the output requirements, MATHESON is also focused on non-technical elements such as deadlines, local regulations and permits, budgets, and local customs and work rules.
For every project, our governing goals are to remain on-time, under budget, and 100% safe.
Plant Operations Management
Beyond the staffing at the production site itself, our Remote Operations Center (ROC) (pictured here) enables us to have complete access for plant observation, operation, optimization, and, if needed, emergency shut-down.
As the name implies, the ROC is a REMOTE control center, and it performs its functions independent of staffing at the plant site itself.
Plant Maintenance
When we design a plant or subsystem, piping, mechanical components, compressors, and other OEM elements are sourced based on safety, quality, application, availability of spares, and serviceability.
In short, every aspect of a MATHESON designed and constructed system is planned first to perform safely, but also to accommodate maintenance, expansion, modification, and upgrades.
